Where to Get It:
BetterTimes Pull Buoy Review
A lot of swimmers prefer the classic two-piece pull buoy over the new one-piece design.
This BetterTimes Pull Buoy is one of the most inexpensive on the market and comes in two different sizes, 6 inches (the standard size) and 8 inches for larger swimmers.
This design has a reputation for being extremely comfortable, and a lot of swimmers agree that it is more comfortable than the one-piece buoys.
The adjustable straps ensure that the buoy will fit each person perfectly, which is the biggest complaint about the one-piece buoys. The straps are very durable and are made to hold in place once they are adjusted.
Some consumers argue that these two-piece pull buoys are considered out-dated for a reason.
The foam, which is not coated or closed-cell like most of the new buoys, can rub on your legs if you’re performing long workouts and can actually get a little painful.
The foam also is not as durable as the more expensive one-piece buoys, but at such an inexpensive price, this buoy doesn’t break the bank when it needs to be replaced.
- Very inexpensive
- Original two-piece design
- Adjustable straps
- Two sizes
- Not highly durable
